Surya Vilas Solan Himachal
Visited a new place near Solan, Himachal in last month of June-Surya Vilas. Started from Delhi at 6PM and stopped only once for refreshment and more at 9PM and reached Surya Vilas by 12 mn after travelling about 300k. The resort is just 90 mins drive from The road from Ambala to Zirakpur has really improved and the only bottleneck is the ongoing work at Panckula, crossing Panipat was a breeze with the new flyovers. On reaching Surya Vilas we were served piping hot dinner in the room thanks to the F& B manager, the food was really delicious specially so after the long drive. The rooms are in form of cottages each having four rooms each with seperate entrance. The room size is huge with equally large bathrooms with their glass roofs giving you a view of the sky while bathing. The rooms are a/c as the resort is only 40 km from Kalka.
